Universiti Malaya (UM), Malaysia’s oldest and leading university, has entered into a landmark collaboration with CADS AI and the DAMA Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Chapter to ensure that every undergraduate and postgraduate student at UM — across all faculties — is equipped with essential skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data literacy.
Through this university-wide initiative, students will:

✅ Earn a jointly recognized certification from UM & CADS A
✅ Access DAMA’s global data management standards and professional pathways, including the Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification
This initiative directly supports Malaysia’s MyDIGITAL blueprint, the MADANI Economy agenda, and the National AI Roadmap 2021–2025, reinforcing the nation’s ambition to become a regional hub for AI talent and data-driven innovation.
